Yeah where does this BIG FAT RED LIE fit in?

I looked every where from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation and the closest word to SANTA was SATAN perhaps you are the one – S A T A N

WHY DON’T WE JUST TELL OUR CHILDREN THE TRUTH FROM THE BEGINNING THAT GOD IS THE SUPPLIER OF EVERYTHING (Philippians 4:19) RATHER THAN TAKING THE GLORY OFF GOD AND PUT IT ON A NON EXISTING MAN?

HOW CAN OUR CHILDREN BELIEVE US WHEN WE TELL THEM ABOUT JESUS AFTER THEY UNDERSTAND THAT SANTA CLAUS IS NOTHING BUT A LIE?

—————————————————————————————————————————

Also with kind permission I would like to also share a Testimony of a sister, a Former Roman Catholic who in the past held dear to her heart the celebration of Christmas, but the Lord has set her free.

Ginny Bell

Throughout my 29 years as a Roman Catholic I have mostly fond memories of Christmas. The tree the lights the music the Midnight Mass were all a big part of my upbringing. It seemed when I became born again that Christmas tended to change for me. I realize it is all about buying things for everyone else even if you couldn’t afford it. I had to make sure that my kids could at least open 10 presents a piece so the shopping and the cooking and the decorating all got to me where I was so stressed out and almost hated the Holiday. Even in the beginning of my Christian walk the stress was unbearable.

The kids were grown and I made up my mind not to celebrate Christmas for the sake of my health and let my family know of my decision, and talk about the peace that passes all understanding came over me. I didn’t feel guilty one bit. Later on I was looking into where the Christmas celebration really came from which made me feel even better giving it up since Jesus Birthday is not on December 25th but an enemy of JESUS birthday lands on December 25th the pagan god Tammuz. His mother was Semiramis. When you compare these two they are so identical to the Catholic Mary and the baby Jesus. So I found out more on where the Catholic Mary came from since it is not the Biblical Mary. It truly made me feel a lot better giving up Christmas all together. One big thing to ask yourself is….”IS Jesus being glorified or is it all about what are you going to get for Christmas?” How much of the day is focused on JESUS? Is it all about Parties and family get-togethers? There is nothing wrong with getting together with Family.

But is JESUS offended that you selected a pagan holiday where you should be singing to Tammuz but replace his name for Jesus? It kind of reminds me of some secular songs that some lukewarm Christian took and replaced the words with Christian words. Does GOD truly get glorified if you cannot come up with something genuine for HIM but instead use a secular song to praise HIM? Sure we are supposed to have JESUS on our minds continually and praise HIM continually giving HIM Glory in everything even on December 25th. Romans 14:5 One person regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind. You will know if you have a wrong spirit in you if you are holding on to Christmas for your dear life.

I recently told a person on FB that I do not celebrate Christmas any more and they got so mad at me and kept taunting me and putting me down for my decision, so I had to block him. I haven’t put anyone down for celebrating it because it is their decision in Christ. So why someone would get so mad at me? A false spirit is inside of them holding on for dear life of a man-made god to serve. IF someone celebrates JESUS truly on that day then praise the LORD we just need to be careful of what we are doing and make sure we are not offending our Great GOD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST!

Yours in Christ Jesus
